About the story
When I arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam, I was excited to try the amazing street food. But one night, something shocking happenedโI accidentally ate dog meat! In my country, dogs are pets, not food, so this was a huge cultural surprise.
I decided to explore both sides of the debate:
๐น Why do some Vietnamese people eat dog meat?
๐น Why are younger generations rejecting this tradition?
๐น Is eating dog meat the same as eating pork, chicken, or beef?
๐น Should Vietnam ban dog meat?
Join me as I speak to locals, activists, and pet owners to understand this controversial topic.
๐ข What do YOU think? Should dog meat be banned, or should people have the freedom to eat what they want? Share your thoughts in the comments!
